Student Affair at Missouri Western State University is insist in providing access for students to get involved, stay in class and graduating from university.
With the graduation rate now days have had decrease and recent research indicates that fewer students are going to college, graduating high school, or entering college but never graduating from college or university.
“I think it create a tough situation for small school like Missouri Western, because we have to recruit more and more students and there is less student to recruit from, so it makes it difficult for us to maintain a big freshman class.” , VP of student affair, Shena Meyer said. “I personally think that people should go to college because all of the research also shows that if you go to college, you make more money in the long run.”
Because of the economy people thing they can get out and take any job opportunity without think on the long term and see that over time going to college pays off.
Missouri western was rank in 2014 edition for Best College in Midwest region by US News College Compass because of the high percentage in graduation rate.
