Let your pictures tell a thousand words.
As a photojournalist or Convergent Media Major, I like capture the images that draw new attention to an issue, change people’s minds, amazed people with everyday object in different perspective or angle.
My major challenge me to work with people and adapted my self to every situation.
I will tell you why Photojournalism is important:
- Capture the moment you will never forget.
It warmth my hearth to see my family pictures even it is from years ago, it is ridiculously funny, but I’m happy that my parents took those pictures long time ago. With pictures, later on in life you can still share all the wonderful time you had by looking at the pictures.
- Making Art
Photo can be a great story telling without words. Whether you’re telling a story with one image, a gallery, a series, or an entire portfolio, the possibilities are endless. Just ask yourself what story you want to tell, and photography can get you there.
Your photos can make people happy. They can make people sad. Through simply showing your images you can evoke an emotion in someone else. With the internet you can affect so many people at once. Photography can really connect people in that way.
- Can make people think
With your images you can also make people stop and think. Just a glance at a powerful image can stop people in their tracks. Some images can change the way you view the world for the rest of your life. Strong stuff.
- Trick reality
Anyone can become a photographer nowadays. It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, what country you live in, or what language you speak. Just get your hands on a camera–any camera–and start shooting. Practice, think about your work, and open yourself up to your experiences. Keep at it and you’ll see firsthand why being a photographer is a great experience, I enjoyed it and I think you might like it too!!
